Curlingshoes: Slider Types

A Guide to Slider Types

BalancePlus sets the Standards in naming the slider typs.
Skeki helps you with this little guide to keep track.

Hinged - what is that?

A hinged slider is fixed to the shoe only on the front part.
The idea is to keep a maximum of the slider on the ice while the foot is angled.
It was first used by BalancePlus and Ultima Curling years ago.
Do not be afraid: due to the high standards in production a hinged slider does not fall off.
Our own experience here at Skeki is, that these slider types are as reliable as any other type..
