Choosing the right handle has the largest impact on the weight of the broom.
Currently the market offers three types of handles based on the material:
Fibreglas Handles
Very robust, the classic material, but today the variant, that brings the most weight.We have come a very long way from heavy wooden brush handles.
Fibreglas/Carbon Mix Handles
The most recent invention mixes the two materials and the results are weight well below the weight of a fibreglas handle and a price well below a carbon handle. Ideal for recreational curlers.Carbon Handles
Very light, but still very robust.The gold standard for curling brushes.
